Half-Day Styled Product Photoshoot
I was so thrilled to be asked by Sue at SilverQ Jewellery to photograph her gorgeous fine silver, metal clay jewellery designs. Sue creates pure, clean, bright and beautiful silver designs that feature the most beautiful textures. She was looking for a refresh of her product photography for her website so that she had consistent imagery throughout.
From her Styling Discovery Questionnaire and our Styling Consultation Call it was clear that Sue wanted a light and airy, skandi-style feeling to her images with clean lines. We agreed on a muted dusty pink and grey colour palette with a brighter pop of colour for contrast.

Product Styling to create a casually elegant brand feeling
For the first styled setup, we focussed on white painted wood and white marble backgrounds, with dusty pink and grey linen fabric and ribbons to add sophisticated texture and layers. We then added pink botanical items such as vintage roses, peonies and pink dried grasses to reflect the botanical influence throughout her work. The end result was a beautiful set of images that were beautiful, understated and celebrated the beauty of the jewellery designs.

Creating a consistent and cohesive brand image library
For the second styled setup, I focussed on the pink linen as the background so that these images would sit nicely alongside the rest of the images. This worked really well alongside the textured silver.
I also took some lifestyle and flatlay shots of Sue’s beautiful packaging and some fun themed shots of a couple of her pieces including some group shots to round off the gallery.
It was a joy to shoot Sue’s beautiful gallery and I am so pleased that she was thrilled with her gallery. I am excited to see this next phase of her business as I know great things are in store for this talented designer.
